Join me for an afternoon of seed starting using soil blocks!

Soil blocks are an amazing way to start seeds and provide many advantages for the seedlings, including more space to grow, air-pruned roots, and lower transplant shock. Soil blocks are compressed blocks of planting medium that are formed using a mold. I use soil blocks to start all my flower seeds and have had great germination and seedling health. Come start seeds with me this year!

This workshop will take place five weeks before the May long weekend, perfect for starting a variety of veggie and flower seeds. We will use the ¾ inch mini block mold to create 60 blocks for seed germination and we will plant our seeds into these. We will also use the 2 inch block mold to create 40 blocks that you will use at home to pot up your seedlings once they have germinated. Seeds for starting at this time include: broccoli, cucumber, peppers, tomatoes, basil, amaranthus, calendula, honeywort, marigolds, feverfew, and zinnias.

🎟️ $30 for the 1 hour workshop, including one (1) 10x20 tray, seed starting mix, vermiculite, and flower seeds. BYO vegetable seeds for starting too!

Join us for a hands-on Mother’s Day Bouquet Workshop where kids can express their love and appreciation with flowers and art. In this 1-hour session, your kiddos will choose flowers and arrange a stunning fresh bouquet and craft a custom, heartfelt card that Mom will cherish forever. Bouquets will include 10 premium tulips and a mix of spring greenery. I provide all the stems, supplies, and sparkles - they just bring the imagination!
